Terms of sale
Written to be read before you pay, not after. If anything here isn't clear, write to me before buying.
1 · Who sells
Eweb360 di Raimondo Maddonni, VAT 04785100266, Via Fortunato Venanzio 4, 31100 Treviso, Italy. Contact: info@obscuria.it.
2 · Who it is for
obscurIA is sold exclusively to parties purchasing in the course of their professional or business activity. Purchases by consumers are not provided for, and registration requires a company name. Italian Consumer Code provisions reserved to consumers therefore do not apply.
3 · What you buy
A yearly plan covering a set number of activations: 1 activation €69, 3 activations €189, 5 activations €285. Prices include 22% Italian VAT. One activation is one computer.
4 · Nature of the licence
The software is not sold: it is licensed. obscurIA, its code and its dictionaries remain the property of Eweb360 di Raimondo Maddonni. The licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable, for the number of activations included in the plan. Reselling, sublicensing, sharing outside the holding organisation or circumventing the activation controls is not permitted. Decompiling, disassembling or reverse-engineering the software is not permitted save in the cases expressly allowed by mandatory law. Abusive use may result in suspension.
5 · System requirements
Windows 10 versione 1809 o successiva, e Windows 11 — 64 bit; macOS 12 Monterey o successivo — Apple Silicon e Intel; Linux con glibc 2.31 o successiva — Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 11 e derivate. At least 4 GB of memory and 2 GB of disk space are required. Document content is processed locally and is never transmitted to Eweb360 servers. The software connects to Eweb360 services solely for the technical functions needed for licence management, free-version metering, white-label branding and updates.
6 · Term and renewal
The plan runs for twelve months. Renewal is automatic and can be switched off at any time from the account area. 30 days before renewal an email is sent to the address on the account, stating the renewal date and the amount to be charged. Switching renewal off does not disable the licence: it stays active until the term already paid for.
7 · Refund within fourteen days
Within 14 days of the first purchase of the plan you may request a full refund by writing to info@obscuria.it, without giving a reason. This is a commercial guarantee granted by Eweb360, not the consumer right of withdrawal, which does not apply between professionals. It does not apply to subsequent renewals. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the request, through the same payment method, and end the plan and its licences.
8 · Updates and changes
Updates are included in the plan per tutta la durata della licenza. Eweb360 may fix defects, update security, improve detection and change the interface. Changes that would significantly reduce existing features are announced in advance by email, and in that case a refund of the unused portion of the paid term may be requested.
9 · What obscurIA does, and what it does not
obscurIA is a support tool for pseudonymising and anonymising documents. It does not guarantee that a document is automatically GDPR-compliant, and it does not replace the controller's own assessment. The output must always be reviewed before use: user review is part of the process, not a fallback.
10 · Liability
Eweb360 is liable for direct damages attributable to wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Otherwise, this being a business-to-business relationship, liability is limited to the amount paid for the plan in the twelve months preceding the event. Liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited remain unaffected.
11 · Activations and moving
Each activation covers one computer. Moving to another computer is done from the account area, up to 4 times a year for each activation — not 4 in total for the plan: release the old computer, activate the new one.
12 · When the licence stops
At expiry, if not renewed. The app keeps working for 14 days past expiry so work is not blocked during a renewal in progress; after that it returns to the free version and your documents stay where they are.
13 · Payment and invoicing
Payment runs on Stripe. Full card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored by Eweb360. The invoice is issued with the billing details entered in the account area, which must be filled in before purchase.
14 · Support
Support is provided by email in Italian at info@obscuria.it. No service levels or guaranteed response times apply, save for any mandatory legal obligations.
15 · How the purchase is concluded
Before paying you can review and correct the details entered in your account area. The contract is concluded upon confirmation of the order and of the payment. Eweb360 sends a confirmation to the address on the account, with a summary of the purchase and the version of the terms accepted. Information about the purchased plan remains available in the account area.
16 · Governing law and disputes
Italian law applies. The courts of Treviso, Italy, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms. Before going to court you can always write to info@obscuria.it to look for a solution.
