A concrete service for your members — and your own members' data protected first.

An association has two problems with artificial intelligence, not one. Members are already using it and are asking how to do so without exposing their clients' data. And the association itself handles other people's data: membership lists, fees, minutes, resolutions, correspondence. This page answers both.

First: the data you handle yourself

This is the part that gets overlooked, and it is the one the association answers for directly. A membership list in a spreadsheet is the densest personal-data document in any office: name, surname, tax identifier, address, contact details, fees, often date of birth.

Membership lists are where obscurIA makes the biggest difference

In a list, tax identifiers are one column in ten. The other nine are names, surnames, towns, dates of birth: values with no check digit, where any automatic recognition can only guess. obscurIA reads the column headings: a «Surname» column declares surnames in every row, even when they are ordinary words no statistical system could tell apart. On the same list, with and without that heading row, five times as much is recognised.

Minutes, resolutions and correspondence

Word and PDF documents, including scans: text in scans is recognised on your own computer, with no image ever leaving the device.

The office mailbox

In an office, personal data sits in email more than in documents — and not only in the body: sender, recipients and forwarded messages contain people who often have nothing to do with the exchange at hand. obscurIA opens .eml files and reads them headers included.

Proof that you did it

Every document processed can produce a signed attestation: which file, when, how many occurrences per category, whether a person reviewed it. It contains no values, only counts. It is the document to file when someone asks how that information was handled.

Then: offering it to your members

You do not buy licences upfront hoping to resell them. You issue them when you have the member who wants one, from the portal, and the invoice follows a sale already made. Unsold stock — the real risk in reselling software — simply does not exist.

  • Nothing paid upfront and no minimum volume commitment
  • A dedicated portal to issue and track your members' licences
  • Licences signed by our system, verifiable even offline
  • Optional: your association's name, logo, colours and domain instead of ours
  • Commercial terms agreed together, not a price list to accept
  • No document belonging to your members ever passes through us. Ever

What you need to start

One point of contact

Someone who answers members and deals with us. One person is enough.

Portal access

We set it up. From there you issue licences, see who activated them and download summaries.

An hour to agree terms

Entry discount, targets, invoicing. Agreed before starting, so nobody discovers anything afterwards.

No infrastructure

No server to install, no integration to build, no data for us to hold on your behalf.

The questions your DPO will ask — the printable briefing

«Where do members' documents end up?»

On their own computer. The software works locally: document text is not sent anywhere, not even to us. There is no upload function.

«What do you see?»

Licences, email addresses and billing details. Not the documents, not their content, not even the file names.

«How do we demonstrate we did it?»

With the signed attestation the software produces for each document processed. It is not a qualified electronic signature and it is not the Article 30 record: it is proof of integrity of what was done, and the document says so.

«Do we need a processor agreement?»

Not for document processing, because we do not perform it. For licensing and billing data we act as an independent controller, like any supplier that issues invoices.

What we do not do

  • We do not promise detection finds everything: no tool can. It finds with certainty what carries a check digit, and the rest with good reliability — then it re-reads the protected text and shows you what is left.
  • We do not let a document out before a successful check.
  • We do not give access to source code or signing keys.
  • We do not issue licences outside our own system.

Try it on your own documents.
